This video makes me happy
It's safe for work, just turn down the volume. (Do you ever wonder what life would have been like if you had YouTube when you were going to college?)
In other news, I'm going to my very first comic book convention! I freely admit that I'm I just going for the people dressed up in costumes. Sweet jeebus, please let there be someone there dressed up as The Tick! All jokes aside, I'm looking forward to checking it out and seeing what this "con" is all about (is that how the cool kids say it?). Anyway, I'm glad I'm meeting up with friends the next day. I will definitely need a drink or 12 by then.

Before I get all excited, are you back? I have totally missed reading this blog.
I know a co-worker who's going; she'll be dressed as Powergirl.
I love comics and geeky things but admit I find cons exhausting. Still, a comic-savvy female can get much play in such an environment.
Goodness! I haven't laughed that way about anything in a long long while. Thus, can't help but wonder what they were laughing about...
Trina: I'm not really back. Just posting little updates when the mood strikes. Which is about once a month or so. : /
K.: I'll keep a look out for her! I meant to ask you if you wanted to go, but then the date crept up on me and I figured it was too late. I expect it to be tiring, but exciting at the same time. I'm hoping to see some comic books that shows women in...well...clothes. That would be a good start. I think looking for black women that aren't getting their clothes torn off seems like too much to ask right now.
Ursula: You really don't want to know. It's really, oh what's the word I'm looking for, tasteless. But just watching them laugh like that made me laugh. :)
you are back?!?
oh wait, I just scrolled.
Well I hope you have fun!
